If you optimize your Instagram account really well, Instagram will start ranking your account on the tops search results. The first tip to optimize your Instagram account is:


Make your Instagram page cohesive.

Now when I say cohesive I mean the posts which you upload should be in a single genre. May it be Fashion, Marketing, Fitness anything but your feed should have visual consistency. The posts should make sense in terms of the visuals, the time you post it on, the captions which you use and the hashtags that you add. For doing so, you will need to think about all of the above verticals right from what is a caption that will be best for the visual you are going to upload to how will your grid look after that. For this, you need to plan your content.

Include relevant keywords in your bio and your captions.

While the Instagram post character limit is 2,200 characters when it comes to the bio you only get 150 characters. I know out of 10 profiles I get to see at least 7 profiles where they have utilized 20 characters in just talking about their birth date. Think about it, do people/ you TG need to know your birth date? Or can you add 20 characters of some relevant keywords that would help people to understand what is your business about? or as a Influencer what do you do. The similar applies to the captions. Try to build up a story. People love to read stories and get engaged into it. This will help you to find quality followers who are interested in reading you post.
